Always a Student, Always a Teacher

I've been practicing yoga since 2006, though it took me a while to figure out I was meant to teach it. Getting there has been the privilege and joy of my life.

I'm a 500-hour E-RYT certified teacher with Yoga Alliance and have had the honor of supporting four 200-hour teacher trainings and one advanced training. I teach mostly power flow, but you'll also find me in yin and hot classes. What I love most is a slow, strong, intentional practice that asks something of you without taking itself too seriously.

I believe deeply that the best teachers never stop being students. My own practice is something I protect and prioritize — not just because I love it, but because showing up on my mat makes me a better teacher every single time. I still seek out mentorship myself, and I'm currently deepening my knowledge through a prenatal yoga certification. This is my sankalpa — to be generous with what I know and humble about what I don't. To stay curious, keep growing, and never mistake experience for expertise.

That commitment to growth is what drew me to mentoring new teachers. Watching someone find their voice and their confidence in front of a class is one of the most rewarding things I've experienced. I try to bring the same generosity to that work that my own mentors have shown me.

My classes tend to feel like a conversation. There's movement, there's breath, and honestly, there's usually a laugh or two. It's just yoga — and yoga is for everyone, in every body, at every level.

I'm so glad you're here.
